Very colorful and festive. If you don't mind me saying so, I think we overhype things when we expect Christmas and New Year's and other days to somehow be magical, like they were when we were young. Really, they're just twenty-four hour periods like any other day; the magic is what we make of them. The only reason they felt so special when we were little was because we formed the magic in our minds. Approaching things from that perspective can actually make things more magical, in that we can create new magic that's appropriate for our circumstances.
